Breakfast in Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna

The hotel was exceptional, i couldn't have chosen a better hotel in Vienna. From being greeted by the lobby staff each day, to relaxing in the lobby listening to the pianist, it was without a doubt one of the best hotels i have stayed in. Within the stay was breakfast each day, which was faultless with extensive tasty options and champagne which is always a bonus. The room was incredible, with lots of room to move around, heated bathroom floor and speakers, free mini bar, also, i liked the fact that the TV's were screen mirroring meaning i could watch programmes off my phone and that's just some of what the room includes. The spa and fitness facilities were exceptional too, also i found them to be quiet meaning i had the spa to myself on occasions. The hotel itself is around 10 mins in a Uber, to the centre hot spots. I found Uber much better then the general taxis though, as it appeared the taxis outside the hotel do try to rip you off! Lastly, the hotel was very disabled friendly. I took the trip with my dad who uses a mobility scooter, and he got around without any issues as the floors were all flat, with a ramp up to the restaurant. If you are hesitating booking this hotel, don't. You wont regret it. The staff are all so very helpful and the hotel itself if impeccable.

I originally booked a king bed but switched to a twin bed before arrival, and it wasn’t an issue at all. In fact, we were upgraded to a more spacious room, which was incredibly comfortable for both me and my sister. Each day, we received thoughtful notes from the hotel staff, starting with the General Manager and even from the housekeeping team, along with sweets and a relaxing bath/ pillow essentials, which truly made our stay exceptional. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the food in the lobby was also fantastic. We enjoyed amazing live music in the lobby at night, which was absolutely stunning. Special thanks to Mohammed at the front desk for checking us in and always making us feel welcome!

Although some areas are currently undergoing redevelopment works, the general atmosphere is not altered. Beyond the location very close to the center, the large room, the huge bed, the bathroom with bathtub but also with shower and electronic controls in all areas, I appreciated the orientation towards the small details that matter: bed linen and bathrobes, slippers, quality amenities, the exceptional minibars. Breakfast was fabulous. The spa area is sensational. Three sauna options and a ladies area. The staff is very friendly, and if it is rainy season you can find umbrella in ypur room or in the lobby. It was a wonderful experience.

The rooms were very clean, elegant and spacious I had a miscommunication with a staff at the hotel as we were 4 people but only had one room, the manager sorted very nicely with a without charging me a fortune as it was a last minute extra room. The facilities for wheelchair users were very good and staff were very easy and polite. We didn’t eat at the hotel but had some room services which were excellent The lobby has a piano player every evening The SPA is excellent Thank you all at the hotel to make our stay so easy!!

-breakfast are superior/ price normal to high, though it is quite convenient -I can see the cleaner has gone extra miles to make the room clean and comfortable for us, we are thankful -receptionist girl is very friendly and cheerful, very adaptive to our needs -location is in a very nice area of town, nice neighbourhood
